Hitting the Target

Local K-12 students hit the Target this morning shopping for back-to-school items… free of charge. The Salvation Army and Target are teaming up for the fourth straight year to help over 12,000 needy children nationwide. Over 30 children from the Shelby County area had a chance to fill a cart at the Target on Hwy 150. Building Collapses onto Salvation Army Thrift Store

Emergency Disaster Services crews of The Salvation Army are serving first responders on the scene of the Philadelphia building collapse with food and hydration as emergency efforts continue.  As of May 28, 2013 The Salvation Army has provided 29,783 meals, 45,153 drinks, and 37,091 snacks, 297 Clean Up kits handed out, and prayed with 3,695 persons since Sunday, May 19.
